Fall is Coming!!!

Just finished this burlap wreath. I think this would be much better inside, over a mantle or in the den. Could be used all year round. I made flowers from wool and wool leaves and feathers. It has a couple of burlap flowers and ruffle. This would definitely be a conversation piece since it is one of a kind. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing it. It is large but light. Apprx. 27" diameter... $39.00

2011 God Williing and the Creek Don't Rise Plant Swap !!!

It was hard to pull this together this year..... I just have had such bad luck with the weather for our past plant swaps. But, I am having it on June 11th, Sat., 10-1.....  Shop will be open til 5:00
We are having Don Hover of Spring Hill, with his wife, Jean, to come and give us a demo on Lasagna Gardening. This is an easy to do way of layering organic materials for a no-dig,no-till garden. He says it is very easy to do and no waiting, just plant away!! Kind of interesting and love that he would show us how. If you are interested in this demo, just arrive at 10:00, under the trees in the country at Sugar Ridge Creations to learn this technique. I am such a novice but love , love learning about gardening.
Don Hover - 10:00 Lasagna Gardening demonstration
Plant swap starts - 11:00      Bring 1-4 plants from your yard, not Home Depot, and label your plants
Pot Luck Country Lunch - 12:00  Bring a dish to be spread out with everyone, just like an old fashioned dinner on the ground.....if you can, bring a yard chair. Wear an apron if you have one.  Drinks will be provided. I will have a tent set up for the event.
call me if you have any questions and remember, this is a small plant swap and very laid back!
931 486 1151  or email shop at sugarridgecreations.com
or facebook   sugarridgeceations(yes, spelled wrong) to keep in touch
Can't wait to see you and you can come with dirt under your nails......Mary Alice
